New Staff Member Joins the Development Team
Lindsey Brake has joined the Ohio Wildlife Center team as the new Events Coordinator. In this role she will manage all on-site events and logistics at the Bonner Barn as well as coordinate key fundraising events throughout the year, including WildNite for Wildlife. Cocoa + Canvas Event Features Eagle Walk and Painting
More than 80 people attended Ohio Wildlife Center’s Cocoa + Canvas event December 2, 2018 at the Cook Road Bonner Barn. Board member and zoo veterinarian Dr. Mike Barrie gave tours of the new Bald Eagle Exhibit and other Animal Ambassador enclosures while guests also made enrichment materials for the animals. Center volunteers organized animal paintings for each person at the event with woodland box turtles and aquatic turtles. Proceeds from the event benefitted the Wildlife Hospital’s food fund.
