Learning Opportunities with Ohio Wildlife Center

Public events, private programs, single-day and summer camps, workshops, and classes deliver a variety of topics on the environment, conservation and co-existing with wildlife. Our resident Ohio native wild Animal Ambassadors – mammals, reptiles and birds – bring inspirational stories from nature to life. On-site programming takes place at the Center’s 20-acre grounds in Powell, comprised of forests, ponds, wetlands and meadows.

For outreach programming, an educator from Ohio Wildlife Center will travel to your location along with Animal Ambassadors to provide a presentation on wildlife and conservation topics.

Our wildlife educators tailor unique programs and experiences to age groups assisted by our more than 60 Animal Ambassadors. Each ambassador has a story to tell about the value of native wildlife to the community and the environment.

You can see more when you come to us. Guests who travel to the Center for a program can also tour the grounds and meet the ambassadors in their habitats that are full-time residents: our Bald Eagle, coyote, fox, owls, hawks, crows and vultures.

Private education programs are fee-based and require advance registration.
