WildNite for Wildlife

On April 11, 2019 Ohio Wildlife Center’s WildNite for Wildlife, took place at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. With more than 325 guests and 38 corporate and individual sponsors, the event raised $258,109 for the Wildlife Hospital. The Dr. Donald L. Burton Legacy Award recognized Jerry Borin, who served as the Executive Director of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium from 1992-2008 and as the Center’s Interim Chief Operating Officer in 2010. Mr. Borin spearheaded growth at the Zoo and helped propel the Zoo’s mission forward by expanding the organizations support of conservation projects across the globe.

Suzi Rapp and Mike Davis hosted our event. The evening also featured a family-style dinner donated by Catering by Scott, and live and silent auction, Fund-a-Need, and a visit from Honorary Trustee Jack Hanna.
