SCRAM! Continues Full Service Operations for Central Ohio

New contact-free process is in place

As businesses slowly return to operations in Ohio, SCRAM! Wildlife Control continues services 7-days a week through appointments with new modifications to ensure staff and customer safety and health.

SCRAM!’s certified wildlife technicians are closely monitoring public health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the team is fully prepared to safely work in and around customer homes,  businesses and outdoor spaces.

SCRAM! Service Call on a LadderThe new SCRAM! business plan modifications offer a contact-free experience with these safety features:

  • The team closely follows public health and safety prevention measures set forth in state and federal guidelines
  • Each wildlife technician is required to pass daily health screenings
  • Technicians will minimize personal interactions and interior access – greeting customers with a wave, maintaining a safe 6 foot distance and discussing questions and concerns outdoors
  • If an attic or crawlspace access is necessary, the technician will ask homeowners if any resident in the house has been sick and/or  exposed to  anyone with COVID-19  symptoms in the last two weeks;  Technicians may decline  to enter a home if they determine it is unsafe to do so
  • If a wildlife technician does need to enter the home, they will wear gloves, shoe covers, masks and coveralls
  • An inspection summary and photos of SCRAM! findings will be sent to the customer via email after the home or business inspection
  • Payment is expected at the time of service and credit card payment is preferred. This can be completed with an invoice link sent by email

SCRAM! vehicles and trucks are also equipped with cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer will be used after each customer interaction.

SCRAM! Team MembersSince 2001, SCRAM! Wildlife Control has offered an alternative to lethal commercial trapping for wildlife conflicts. It operates the community’s leading non-lethal, permanent exclusion service for conflicts with wildlife in homes and businesses. Working with clients, experienced technicians conduct full inspections and determine the best options to prevent conflicts and provide remediation solutions such as securing entry and exit space issues around decks, sheds, attics and roofs. As a social enterprise unit for Ohio Wildlife Center, all business revenue generated by SCRAM! supports the nonprofit operations of the Center.

The full range of SCRAM! fee-based services are available by appointment by calling 614-763-0696.
