Red Tail Runners Enjoy Scenic 5K

Hooray! On a crisp Fall morning at the end of September, fans of fitness and of Ohio Wildlife Center rallied together for a unique 5K called Red Tail Run. More than 125 runners supported this annual fundraising event that helps support the operations of central Ohio’s only Wildlife Hospital. Runners enjoyed interacting with Animal Ambassadors before and after the run and witnessed the release of a recently rehabilitated red tailed hawk. DNO Produce provided snacks. Staff and Volunteers provided wildlife education. The runners and walkers provided an exciting race and resources for our donor-funded hospital. The morning was a great win for Ohio’s ill, injured, and orphaned wildlife!
