Join us on Saturday, March 30 from 2:00pm-3:30pm to celebrate Women’s History Month with a presentation from our very own Conservation Liaison, Becky Rose!

More than 100 years ago, Americans came together to march, protest and organize boycotts against a threat to birds – the fashion craze of feather hats, which nearly drove several species of birds to extinction. This is the story of how people fought and won passage of the International Migratory Bird Treaty Act – one of the oldest and most important wildlife protection laws on the books.

Program geared for teens and adults of all ages, light refreshments will be provided.
