Ohio Wildlife Center offers a variety of on-site and outreach animal education programming for groups of all ages.
Our trained staff delivers a variety of topics on the environment, conservation and co-existing with wildlife. Our native wild Animal Ambassadors bring inspirational stories from nature to life. On-site programming takes place at the Center’s 20-acre grounds in Powell comprised of forests, ponds, wetlands and meadows.
Our wildlife educators offer unique programs and experiences assisted by some of our more than 60 Animal Ambassadors, many which were former patients but could not be released back to the wild. Each ambassador has a story to tell, a story that illustrates the value of wildlife to the community and the state.
You can see more when you come to us. Guests who travel to the Center for a program can also tour the grounds and meet the full-time resident ambassadors in their habitats: our bald eagle, coyote, fox, owls, hawks, crows and vultures.
Private education programs are fee-based and require advance registration.
Booking a program at our site in Powell is simple. We conduct tours for students and other groups, set up wildlife encounters and inspire small groups.
