Ohio Wildlife Center's 24/hr Wildlife Hotline:

614-793-WILD (9453)

WHAT DO I DO?

If you've found an ill or injured wild animal,

Bring it to OWC's clinic or call our hotline for advice

614-793-9453

  • Please read RESCUE AND TRANSPORT

  • If you still have questions, call our hotline for assistance.

  • Depending on the situation, it is usually best not to feed the animal anything and to bring it in as soon as possible (feeding wildlife the wrong formula/ food can do more harm than good, so it's important to get it proper care as soon as you can - That's what we're here for!).

NOTE: If you think the animal or animals are orphaned, read this important information first or call our hotline.

Ill or injured wildlife may be taken to the Ohio Wildlife Center's hospital at:

2661 Billingsley Road

Columbus, OH 43235.
